I have filed a missing persons report with the police in Delray,Florida. They tell me that she has not been arrested nor found dead down there. A detective is making the rounds though there is not much to go by.
Aren't they supposed to be able to locate a person's cell phone? Her's is still active though it has not been used.
Any suggestions?
The officer was nice. He says this happens all the time and she will probably show up. They will match data all over the country so there is a good chance that she is alive. There were no matches.
He said that most likely someone is supplying her and that is why she does not call but he has started looking. I do appeciate that much. The police down there are sick and tired of all the half way houses and drama that comes from them.
We looked back over old emails and found the name of a man she was with a few weeks ago so maybe that will lead to something.

ReplyDeleteGood Lord in heaven...parents aren't supposed to have to do stuff like that. I am so sorry. I am praying that God has her tucked away in His hands and isn't letting go. And for you too...the same thing, that you find comfort knowing that your daughter has a HP who cares about her and loves her and will give her every opportunity to turn back. ((HUG))

I know these horrible, long disappearances. More often than not, they are just on an all out run. Your worries are the last thing on their mind.
ReplyDeleteYou can also check the county jail websites in your state..many times when I didn't hear from my son, he was in jail.
I've often thought jail was the best outcome when they are on such a self destructive tear.
Please take a few minutes to find some peace.
Thanks again to all of you. I did not call on any of you personally by I sure do appreciate the invitations to do so.
ReplyDeleteI am glad that Lou is still commenting. I need your input Lou. You are an expert here. You are an expert at survival and a good mother not matter what your son does or does not do.
special thanks to brother Frankie and fractal mom about the cell phones.
I do appreciate you all.
Anna, I am so sorry. I hope that she will be found. Please take care if yourself.
